It’s difficult to determine what objects player’s ship will collide with and what it will pass through. For example, shots from the ship collide with a planet – and the player will pass right through it. In some cases, ship debris can damage the ship, but other objects pass through without issue! Adding some form of visual indicator would add helpful clarity to these situations.

Fixed for asteroids. In 1.9 Beta 1, out-of-plane asteroids (which do not block shots) are faded to the space color.
