If you manage to defend the Korolov station at Charon, you should be given access to the dock services there even if you don't have membership, maybe by promoting them to apprentice. It would help in completing the mission they give you.

I've had games where Charon station was the only Korolov station, so definitely recommend this.

This is a good idea, but there should probably be a minimum of one normal Korolov station, too.
