The changes to internal HP has made killing Earth Slavers a lot harder. To counter this (even if internals get nerfed, since there will still be a net buff from the original mission assumptions for HP) the ships should be started further away from their targets when they're spawned in. This gives the player more time to deal with them.

Also: Earth Slavers should not end up so close to the stations when they attack, since they explode when destroyed and often result in the station being destroyed even if the player would otherwise have defeated the fleet.

Alternative fix suggestion: Remove interior from Earth Slaver carriers, the variant used in Huari missions.

In 1.7 Beta 6, I've made several fixes to tone down that mission:

  • The Sung fleet starts out further back, to give the player more time.
  • There are fewer Earth slavers
  • The Earth slavers are highlighted on the map so the player can intercept them.
  • Temple has more hit points.
