Currently, projectiles fired at an enemy gladiator can fly out the door and hit things outside the arena after they die. The door should wait 2-4 seconds for the player to stop firing and any remaining shots to hit the walls before opening.
Yesterday I was fighting in the arena against a gladiator Centurion. It was heading for the door when I landed the killing shot on it and the wreck promptly drifted outside the arena.
I would suggest not opening the Arena door until you dock with the Arena to claim your reward.

What happens if the player dies after the opponent dies first (then resurrects), either self-destruct (while having insurance) after victory (to see what happens) or mutual-kill where both trade shots and gladiator dies first then player next?
The player will be unable to return to the arena as they'll resurrect outside. I've added a new PR to open the doors if the player dies between winning and docking. But eventually we might want to consider mutual destruction to be a draw
