Watching the livestream, your credit total didn't increase after the mission to smash a stronghold. As a high-value target, this should give at least *some* monetary reward.
Fixed by giantcabbage in 1.8A1.
However, see Korolov should probably not pay the player for stronghold missions if they don't help and/or frag the leader.
Also, the range of rewards (1000 - 8000 cr.) seems a bit extreme, as is the reduction for initially declining (down to 200 - 800). Is there a standard for mission payments? Maybe something like 2000 - 6000, reduced by half if initially declined, would be more reasonable.

I _thought_ I was using this scale - but clearly I was a bit off with the copy & paste (or I copied from APD without converting the currency). Half the reward for an initially declined mission seems sensible to me.
On a related note I'd like a standard XP scale too (just haven't written the ticket yet..)
So they are expected to double (with some rounding) every system level. OK, then.
XP isn't really a thing... several sovereigns/mechanics use a stat called XP, but they all do different things and need different amounts, so I don't think there's a standard.
Fixed in 1.8 Alpha 3:
- Payment is set to 1,000, 2,000, and 4,000 (Korolov only shows up on levels 1-3, so that's enough).
- If the player declines, reward is cut in half.
