Adding the Near Stars to the main game as an extension is easy, however there are a couple of cases where NearStarsVol01 assumes the player is a CDM Mercenary

The Eternity Port dock screen assumes the player has a neural interface (which the EP intro implies was added to the player by Morningstar). Add an alternative intro for other player classes.

APDMission06 requires a CDM shard making it impossible for other player classes to progress the APD story line. An alternative for other player classes would be an algorithm cube with the extraction hack (player would need a quantum cpu instead)
