I'm almost certain I've ticketed this before, but it's a bit more apparent as an issue now.

The display currently has WMDX as a tag. Ideally, this should instead read "X% to hardened targets". This gives the actual WMD damage value, rather than the rating. It also ensures currect display of WMD damage for WMD0 rated weapons in 1.7a1 and above. This could be done in brackets after the "blah damage at blah per second" section, on the same line, rather than using a tag (which would be too cramped for the full text)

My suggestion on the forum was:

WMD1 -> "+150% internal damage"
WMD2 -> +220%
WMD3 -> +300%
WMD4 -> +400%
WMD5 -> +530%
WMD6 -> +700%
WMD7 -> +900%

Now that WMD damage is proportional to regular damage for WMD0, I don't think it's necessary to explain how it works behind the scenes. The player just needs to understand that some ships and stations have internals and that some weapons are more effective against them than others.
