Weapon item images are most in need to improvement. We start by creating unique items images for each common damage type:
- Laser: A narrow, rectangular barrel, with red accents.
- Kinetic: We use a gray color scheme to match the weapon.
- Particle: Slightly larger/wider than laser and with green accents.
- Blast: Use existing cannons for inspiration (but leave room for a separate howitzer design).
- Ion: These should be spherical with blue accents.
- Thermo: Use a dirty yellow/white color scheme and fat barrels.
- Positron: Elaborated version of particle beams, but with yellow accents.
- Plasma: Use Star Blazers' wave motion gun for inspiration.
- We keep the current weapon image for all other weapons (including Lamplighter, etc.).

- Weapons with damage types not listed above (e.g., Lamplighter, Penitent cannon).
- Iocrym weapons
