When you attack an outlaw (whatever) mine, it has 4 (typically?) TA-3 autons protecting it. Once you destroy them, if it leaves a wreck you can't salvage them like other autons. Seen in several of the 1.9 variants I believe, definitely in 1.9 RC1 and 1.9.1.

Bump for attention - still an issue in 2.0a7. If they are not intended to be salvageable autons, they should be changed to either be a ship class or not leave wreckage.

Hi, the contributor team discussed it and we think it should be fine to include.
However a few things to note:
- In SotP/EP, George can veto that decision so its not 100% yet (but we dont think he will)
- This is totally fine to include in Chronicles (aka sandbox adventure), but do note that at a technical level all autons ARE already actually ship classes inherently, and Chronicles is aiming to have a more complex overall salvage system, so that entire adventure is likely to have substantial/entirely differences in implementation for this feature.
- The 2.0 alphas are focusing primarily on engine-side changes, with XML-side/content/player-facing content largely being something that will show up during the 2.0 betas later on. This change wont make it into 2.0a8 because 2.0a8's change list is locked in for release next week, but possibly it might make its way into a 2.0 alpha if someone has time to implement it early.
