Basically, this is a QoL idea to highlight and point toward known stations that you’re having trouble finding on the system map (like that stargate you’ve flown past eight times already and now can’t remember where the kack it is).
If you’re looking at the list of known stations in the current system in the Galactic Map, there should be a way to select a certain station and highlight it. It should also be able to clear the highlight from the Galactic Map. Highlighting a different station, docking with the highlighted station, or leaving the system should also clear the highlight.
Request: Ability to set a station listed on the galactic map as a target appears to be a related ticket, actually.
If we could somehow bring up the list of stations from withing the System Map, then we could pick a station to highlight.
