Concept sculpt showing the basic body plan of Tetrapod aliens. Posting here in case anyone has particular input (especially ideas for specific species). I'll be doing a couple of concept paintings based on this anatomy.

Notes on the design:

- the layout of the eyes would allow for binocular (3D) vision in all directions simultaneously
- Radial 4-way symmetry. The lines of symmetry bisect the legs.
- limbs are controlled partly by hydraulic pressure in addition to fibrous muscle for superior strength; Like an echinoderm that evolved jointed limbs
- The skin is leathery but tough, and some species can have chitinous carapace segments
- Mouth is on ventral side
- The central eyespot is a 4-part compound eye; Some species remove this in favor of a neural interfacing implant, as CNS integration is easy from this area

This is the most interesting non-George art I've seen in a while.
