The two dry docks in Rigel don't add on a 30% surcharge like all the armor and weapon stations. Possibly they also should do this. Might be an oversight from when trade was added to the dry docks, so ticketed.

There's some argument to be made that maybe Commonwealth stations should charge normal prices, since they're presumably government-run. They provide comparatively limited services -- mostly repairs and refuelling, maybe a minor armor or reactor upgrade if you're lucky.

Yeah, the other stations are Corporate, the dry docks are Commonwealth. Maybe it's just the Corporate ones that fleece the player or it might be a system wide thing. George's call.

I need to take a look. The ideas was that Rigel gave you a trade-off: lots of weapons available, but at a slightly higher price.

In 1.9 Alpha 1 I changed Rigel so that it uses the system-wide price adjustments to add +25% markup to weapons, armors, shields, and ammo.

  • It will cost 25% extra to buy those items, but you can also sell those items for more money.
  • Adjustment uses the trading system, so all stations are affected.
  • Galactic Map show it as a shortage of weapons, armor, etc.
