I only saw this once so I have no idea how to reproduce it.
Started a new game, talked to Benedict, he sent me to a station to get a job. Went to the station, station manager asked me to take out a raider base... but he said he would pay me % credits. *shrug* I took out the base and came back, got 300 credits, but the station manager never did say how much he was paying me.

This is fixed in the development version for mining colony missions. See Reward shows as "%reward" and "%reward%" on Destroy Outlaw Miners mission. But thanks for reporting.
If other missions have similar problems, please report them too.
The first time it happened was not with a mining station. It was a regular old station in the cluster around Starton Eridani. But it happened multiple times with mining colony missions too.
I have no idea if this is related, but something isn't hooking some value somewhere. It looks like the same failure to retrieve a value setting.
I was at the Rigel arena, tried to refuel after a melee. It couldn't estimate whether I could afford a helium stick, looks like. I shrugged and went right outside to the dry dock, and got the same failure.
I don't see how this would happen with a Commonwealth colony mission. Weird.
The refueling issue is this bug, which I fixed in the dev version.
Can't see an issue with regular Commonwealth habitat missions. But the others are fixed in 1.8 Beta 3. Thanks!
