Should add an OnDestroy check to make sure that aDestroyReason is not 'enteredStargate before releasing the Death Strike

The solution might not be enough. Would the death strike or similar ability trigger when player visits the Ship Broker, and a Ithalodon (clone) is playable and might be sold?

See, this is why I need a working multiverse login system. Then I'd be able to see how exploitable this is.

It doesn't really make sense that space wildlife would use gates at all, unless the gates are so old that animals have somehow evolved to be able to use them or space animals have been engineered in some way.

The gates are easily that old, yes.

They sort of have to. How else would they have propagated? Admittedly, it's a bit strange, but we still don't know how the gates are triggered. Considering Corsair Is can gate, I doubt the mechanism for doing so is particularly complex or requires specialized parts. Might be as simple as moving into the center of the arms of the gate.

Thank you! Fixed in 1.8 Alpha 4.

p.s.: Most of the stargates in the game were built during the Daazhen era, about 100 million years ago. The older (and rarer) Majellen stargates were built more than 200 million years ago.
