This record describes the changes to specific armor classes in 1.8 Alpha 1. NOTE: This does not include price changes.
Changes
- ultra-light titanium casing: Previously known as ''ultra-light titanium armor''. We've renamed several armors in order to fit in the new mass guidelines.
- ultra-light titanium armor: Previously known as ''light titanium armor''. Mass lowered to 700 (from 750).
- light titanium armor: Previously known as ''titanium armor''.
- ceramic armor: Mass increased to 3,000 (from 2,600).
- titanium armor: Previously known as ''heavy titanium armor''. Mass increased to 3,000 (from 2,500).
- light XMH armor: Previously known as ''XMH armor''.
- heavy ceramic armor: HP increased to 60 (from 50). No longer vulnerable to kinetic damage. Mass increased to 4,000 (from 2,500).
- light plasteel plate: Mass decreased to 2,500 (from 2,800).
- hardened reactive armor: HP increased to 60 (from 50).
- heavy reactive armor: HP increased to 60 (from 50). Mass increased to 4,000 (from 3,500).
- polyceramic armor: No longer vulnerable to kinetic.
- advanced reactive armor: Mass decreased to 3,500 (from 4,000).
- light Tevlar armor: Previously known as ''Tevlar-composite armor''. Kinetic/blast resistant instead of laser/particle. Mass decreased to 2,000 (from 2,500).
- light blast plate: HP decreased to 80 (from 90). Mass decreased to 2,000 (from 4,000).
- heavy plasteel plate: HP increased to 120 (from 100). Mass increased to 4,000 (from 3,000).
- V10 powered armor: Regen increased to 4 (from 3). Power use decreased to 0.5 MW (from 1.5 MW).
- blast plate: HP decreased to 125 (from 135). Mass decreased to 3,500 (from 5,000).
- heavy ceralloy armor: HP increased to 135 (from 120). Mass increased to 4,500 (from 3,000).
- Duralloy armor: HP increased to 135 (from 90). Regen increased to 2 (from 1).
- light Omsk armor: Mass decreased to 2,500 (from 4,000).
- heavy blast plate: HP increased to 220. Mass decreased to 4,500 (from 7,000).
- light Gusoku armor: Previously known as Gusoku armor. HP increased to 145 (from 130). Mass decreased to 2,000 (from 2,500).
- P150 hexphase armor: Mass decreased to 3,000 (from 3,500).
- light orthosteel: HP decreased to 145 (from 175). Mass decreased to 2,000 (from 3,300).
- medium Omsk armor: Mass decreased to 3,500 (from 6,000).
- P450 hexphase armor: Mass decreased to 6,000 (from 12,000).
- light ithalium armor: HP decreased to 200 (from 250). Mass decreased to 2,000 (from 5,000).
- orthosteel armor: Mass decreased to 3,000 (from 3,500).
- quadrocarbide armor: HP decreased to 180 (from 200). Mass increased to 5,000 (from 4,000).
- transuranic plate: HP increased to 500 (from 400).
- V300 powered armor: Power use decreased to 2 MW (from 6 MW).
- hexacarbide armor: Mass increased to 5,000 (from 4,200).
- massive Omsk armor: Previously known as heavy Omsk armor.
- ithalium armor: Mass decreased to 3,500 (from 6,000).
- heavy orthosteel: HP increased to 400 (from 300). Mass increased to 5,000 (from 3,700).
- diamond lattice armor: Mass decreased to 3,000 (from 3,500).
- super-heavy ithalium armor: Previously known as heavy ithalium armor. HP increased to 600 (from 500).
- octocarbide armor: HP increased to 450 (from 400).
