The Commonwealth should consider the possession of radioactive waste to be illegal. Radioactive waste is a very dangerous item that can be used to contaminate objects and create radiation-based weapons, all of which happen to be illegal. One could even contaminate oneself by accident by using an unidentified barrel that happens to contain this waste. Therefore, the Commonwealth would want to dispose of all radioactive waste as soon as possible before some people, such as the Sapiens, use it for evil.
I’m not entirely sure I agree. It would more or less require that uranium fuel rods also be made illegal, since refueling using them creates the aforementioned radioactive waste.
