See attached screenshot for an example. Sometimes NPC ships will thrust in one direction, but accelerate in another. This isn't wobbling: they lock at an angle, thrust constantly at that angle, but do not accelerate at that angle.

From more examples, it seems to be a 90 degree or 270 degree offset only.

One new thing I've noted was a Nakamoto-A doing this.....a ship that does not appear in swarms.

I believe I've fixed this in 1.8 Alpha 1. The problem was a disconnect between the maneuvering code that chased a target and the avoidance code that tried to avoid obstacles (such as barriers and other friendlies).
