The auton bay is blocked from installing most forms of nonweapon device. If an auton with a blocked type (eg a missile launcher) is customised with the auton bay it is possible to remove the device but then impossible to reinstall it, potentially bricking the auton. The auton bay should refuse to remove these devices if it isn't capable of installing them to prevent players from ruining an auton without any kind of warning.
